I am an educator, researcher, writer, and movement-based artist centered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I wear many hats and I love them all! I count myself beyond lucky that the paths I’ve chosen to follow in life have allowed me to pursue my greatest passions: teaching, writing, dance, literature, and community.

Whether it is instructing current and future teachers at the University of New Mexico, artistically directing and performing in a local dance company I founded, or getting to research and write about all aspects of literature and literacy, life is never dull and I’m always inspired by my work.

Additionally, I’m a huge dark academia and gothic horror enthusiast, a laid-back yogi, a cat lover, and a pursuer of the pleasures offered by wine, coffee, and good food.
